Do You Actually 'Need' A Pre or Postnatal Fitness Plan?

Is a pre/postnatal fitness program for everyone? You may be a little surprised to hear my answer. But first, I think it’s important to distinguish how a pre/postnatal plan is different.

It’s not just general population workouts with modifications. Pre/postnatal workouts and fitness plans incorporate intentional movement, taking into consideration the demands and changes on the body during this season of life.

Now, for my answer… no. A pregnancy or postpartum fitness program may not be right for everyone.

I think there can be a lot of shame or guilt that comes up when we are unable (or simply don’t want) to do something that is recommended.

In this episode I dive into who may AND may not benefit from a pre/postnatal specific approach to exercise. At the end of the day, you get to make the best decision for YOUR body and your experience into motherhood.
